We are looking for a strong sales person as soon as possible. You talk to customers and develop strategies in coordination with the other team members and the management. You will drive FarmInsect in the best possible way and generate creative solutions that challenge the status quo.

Our current products are:

1. plant sales (500 000 € - 1 500 000 €) including technical advice to customers for automated regional insect fattening to farmers, fish farmers, and recycling companies.

2. sales of insect-based feed as a sustainable substitute for soy and fish meal mainly in the fish, chicken, and pig sectors.

More and more farmers reach out to us who would like to grow larvae but sell them. However, most regional farmers are too small to produce large amounts of soy and fish-meal-free protein. FarmInsect wants to take on this opportunity and create a regional eco-circle platform:

3. platform - FarmInsect buys back the larvae from our regional farmers and sell them to larger regional feed and pet producers. Our vision is to replace soy and fish meal with insects as a regional and sustainable feed. You will be a key contributor to the successful development and implementation of our vision of sustainable agriculture. Sales are made through phone/video calls and on-site visits. We are already in touch with some major producers.

You will focus on creating and developing our platform . Additionally, you will focus on finding new customers for insect proteins.

You are excited about:

Creating a regional insect distribution platform

• Building a platform that matches the sale and purchase of larvae
• Establishing a logistics network to deliver feed or pet food customers from regional insect farms
• Establish a regular quality control system to monitor the quality of our farmers regularly

Sales of insect-based feeds

• Testing different sales markets for insect-based feeds (with the testing of hypotheses)
• Selling insect-based feed, e.g., as fish, chicken, and pig feed and pet food
• Establishment of cooperations for further processing of insect larvae into compound feed, e.g., with regional feed mills
• Establishment of cooperations for the distribution of insect-based feeds

Aftersales

• Regular customer support after sales of products
• Sale of new products

Your talents:

• Several years of experience in sales, preferably in agriculture. 
• Contacts in agriculture, preferably with feed producers or animal feed manufacturers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-responsible way of working
• Optional: startup experience
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Driving license class B (formerly driving license class 3)
• Willingness to always learn something new every day

You can work from a home office and regularly visit feed manufacturers, animal feed producers, or farmers. You will also visit our site unregularly (Ranerding 4, 84564 Oberbergkirchen).
